I stated sorting nickels again and I have done about $200 worth. I find war, Canadians, and per 60-s. But I find no 2009. Is anyone finding this nickel in numbers by sorting thru boxes?

09 nickels are like impossible to find!!!
Most of them are in Puerto Rico but there are some down in the Miami area. Other than that thats all I know about. |

| I haven't seen a 2009 nickel or a 2009 dime all year. A few rolls of 2009 quarters can be found at banks from time to time; only one 2009 Washington DC quarter in change did I find. About a roll of 2009 halves I have found in boxes. |

| I see on e-bay that 2009 nickles are bringing $1.50 plus a piece and rolls are going $15 - 25 a roll. A numbers are being taken fron mint sets. |

The only '09 Nickle and Dimes I've seen are from my proof and mint sets.
They are not circulating in the Pacific North West (yet). |

HCBTT...thanks for the plug. I continue to search and they are as scarce as a snowflake here in Central Florida, maybe more scarce as I do remember a few snowflakes falling a time or two since 1977.
I ask at the bank, I ask at the Credit Union--nothing. I look at all change I get plus search the rolls. Only that one lone nickel, no dimes, no quarters, and the few pennies and the 2009 Sac. Dollars that I reported on earlier.
Truly a strange year for coins in the US. Maybe by the time the kids are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary people will have loosened their hold on these coins and I will be able to find them in circulation.

| Found one 2009 in change from the convience store, she had to break a new roll to get me correct change. After I noticed it was a 2009 I went back in and bought the other 39 in her drawer but nadda. Still looking but now were to be seen and im even in South Florida, there not here either, even got the office looking for them. |
