Its not a V nickel, its not a buffalo and its not a war nickel but I was glad to find this five cent piece...
The change machine at work dispenses quarters and nickels and I save the nickels for my mini hoarde. As I went through the nickels one seemed rather old looking. I examined the date and saw it read 1938, the first year the Jefferson Nickel was produced. On the back was a D meaning Denver. I would say it grades at least VG8, a nice little find if I do say so myself.
