I picked up some nickels at the bank today and found a 1975 S proof nickel in the rolls. How much are those typicall worth? There is a small speck of green on the E and in the hair.

How do those end up out of proof sets? I have never found a proof penny.

Cool, I have found 7 of them so far. I too have never found a proof penny. As far as how they end up out of proof sets, my guess would be the owners needed cash and broke them open for the Ag coins, then spent the penny and nickel.
