"Boy ya don't see them anymore" when she's handing you some half dollars
LOng story short.See some halves in tellers tray, top one looks like it has potential, ask for them all "as I know how you guys hate them" and find a 35-s Walker right on top!!!!!!!!!!! My first walker!!! When she made her afore mentioned comment I thought she was going to keep it. She was a nice lady and let me have it for a whole $.50. Found a quarter on the ground later in the day too.
Just sharing a lil story for you guys.

Nice. Tellers around here would have snagged it. Lucky you.

Deal

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

I have the same issue. About half the tellers in my network of banks are also Ag hunters.

Nice score misteroman.

A teller the other day gave me some non-Ag clad halves the other day. I sheepishly ask her if she any of the big Ike dollars too. She was like 'oh no, I keep those'. I could just imagine no silver halves get past her either. Generally, it is the younger tellers that hand over the silver half dollars from their trays without a hesitation.
