Hi guys just a quick note to say that there is apparently i'm reliably informed a new edition of the indexed guide to silver art bars about to be published in august/september so theres no need to buy the old one for stupid money!!! i expect most of you will know this anyway/some will not care(copper hoarders and such like)but if me taking two minutes to write this saves someone a couple of hundred dollars then it was worth the time(you can send me a nickel or something)ha ha p.s does anybody else think walking liberty looks a bit like a greek hoplite in a bath gown collecting daisies(no offence intended)just to even the balance i've got a princess diana round from the cook islands looks more like david hasslehoff!!!!

I never noticed or thought of that before, though at least they didn't use the image of lady liberty from the 1916 quarter (It was scandalous back then, lady liberty in a state of undress! While many Greek and Roman statues portrayed women only half dressed, the very idea of liberty in such a state caused an uproar.)

They sure were prudes back then.

I should have chosen "Cut-n-Paste" as a forum name, since that is what I do, mostly.

hi guys getting back to the subject of silver 1oz rounds breifly.
when i started my silver gathering campaign about two moths ago some of you guys were advising me to try to buy as close to spot price as possible or to buy rounds that have a consistant collector premium upon them..well here are my observations for what they are worth..

brittania's
eagle's
kookaburra's
maple's

these are all over priced!!!

chinese silver cheap if you can find some that is actually silver(advise avoidance)

but my not so much favorite as on an ounce for ounce basis would have to be wait..wait..wait...

the mexican 1 onza libertad

now i know not everyboby likes these and its all down taste but if i can generally get 1.5 of these or 1 maple or .75 brittania i'll take my naked angel lady evertime(something about semi naked chicks i like)
