I beat my old record of 5 Ag dimes in one box today. With 15, 14 of them Mercuries. Found them in a CWI box from TCF.

Somebody had to have cashed in a collection or hoard (or a stolen one...). As the lump moved through the system I got a piece.
I'm in a good mood.

I'm still doing the halves, but I'm moving into dimes too (4 to 6 boxes a week). My halves have been atrocious - 15 silver skunks in a roll, 22 silver skunks in the last 24 $500 boxes.
Dimes are fun. My source banks provide dime rolls sealed in see through plastic. That makes them very easy to edge search. I only have to open one or two rolls and put the rest right back into the box to dump later. |

Wow.. great find! And from BWR instead of CWR. Guess I better start sorting more than just the CWR dimes the banks talk me into. |
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.
Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available. |

Very sweet. My Mercury count has been stationary for some time. Typical wear too as even when I was a boy of six in 1960, the dimes you found were the same as we could find back then with rare exception.
Keep sorting.

15 is awesome!
I'm going to start sorting dimes and nickel boxes, more on the chance of finding a 2009 box (slim to none). |
