2old, you made a great point... I’ve never actually done the math with pennies. However, I believe Canadian Nickels will be a more liquid commodity and hard to come by in the future because America doesn’t have 99.99% Nickels in circulation. Both America and Canada have a high content of Copper penny. With the selling and trading possibilities between our 2 countries, I look at it like we are just North Americans with X-amount of Copper pennies and X-amount of Nickel coins.
But, I'll start putting away some copper now too, now that I think about it.
