| BEWARE.. My experience with this mint (Cohen Mint) has been a travesty. They refuse to ship my order and will NOT return any calls or emails regarding my order. I'll stick with APMEX.com for all my future purchases. |

I just typed in "Rhodium coin" into eBay search both CURRENT and COMPLETED listings.
NONE of the coins that Cohen sells are on there.
And completed listings goes back a fair bit. |

Yeah........A week or two. How about SEVEN WEEKS and a fake USPS shipping notice issued by paypal from Cohen Mint that tracks nothing? This made my paypal dispute against Cohen Mint kick back for another DELAY because they issued an intention to ship notice. I had to call customer service at Paypal weeks later and they refunded me in an instant. The paypal rep actually apologized to me! Just the mention of Cohen Mint made the paypal refund very fast. Cohen Mint is to be avoided at all costs and this is my opinion. |

Cohen's site no longer accepts any form of credit card or paypal! Check only!
I think he believe's that way he can keep the $.
I'm tempted to order $500 worth of product via check simply because that constitutes inter-state grand theft if he doesn't end up delivering! I'll put my assistant on filing the paper work. Hm, should I? Very tempting.
And on the off-chance he does send my coins then I have some very unique coins since only a couple other people have ever gotten them :)
Also for fun here are some unedited snippets from the Cohen site "FAQ":

| How this outfit continues to operate is beyond me. A complaint with the NY OAG office and possibly the US Post Office for postal fraud would be a start. They are still accepting orders for Rhodium Coins! Unreal! |

A couple of things:
STRACH, You are a die-hard defender of Cohen, there is no doubt. So what. I could care less as I'm personally not out a thing. Maybe you are a personal friend of his? People aren't trying to pick on you, they are just trying to figure all this out. You come in here, never posting before, and immedeatly defend his crappy business. ALL your posts are posted here. You claim you received several coins, but will not post a picture of one. I can link to ebay all day long as well. If you can take pictures for ebay, how hard would it be to post a few here to help out? You have no interest in helping out here, just talking down to respected members is all you seem to be doing. It's been proven that when someone starts talking about someone else's lack of finances, that is a last ditch desperate measure. Some of us "penny guys" probably have more money/capitol in copper alone than you could have a wet dream about, but you don't see us talking down to you. To me, you are just acting as an outlet for his scam, I mean business. No room for you here....

Hello everyone. I have been one of the lucky ones to receive my coins from Cohen Mint. It took 30 days to get them. I have to admit that I do not like to wait long to get anything I purchase. In fact the US Mint still has yet to ship out my 2009 Lincoln Proof Sets that I ordered back in August. When I called the Cohen Mint, they did answer so whether Venus was in line with Jupiter that day, I dont know. Anyways, in my opinion, Cohen Mint should be communicating with their customers. I purchased the Tantalum and Niobium coins. My next purchase was going to be a Rhodium coin but after reading these posts, I will not be buying. Its unfortanate that they tapped into a great marketing idea and are letting it fail. Enclosed is my invoice and pics of the 2 coins. Notice the date I ordered Sept 1, 2009. I received package October 1st.
For those of you who think I am a shill, its true. I am also a shill for The PepperMint and they are selling white rounds. They come in .999 Sugar and .000 Sugar-Free straight from Candyland.

Hello all,
I am new on the forum, and happy to find an arena for other folks who horde like me.
I am posting on this topic for first because I just sent off an order to the Cohen Mint about a week ago for some bullion. Needless to say, I am nervous about my order now, even if it was only a hundred dollars (I never make big purchases on my first dealing with ANY company, too many bad experiences). Hopefully I will not have the problems that some of you have had. Although I did not order any Rhodium (Sharkman, I guess you are being funny about the Rhodium not being the issue coin). I will let you all know when I get my order, and I can post some picks.
I find the sudden loss of online payment disconcerting, although when I called them to inquire if I could order over the phone, I had someone pick up after 3 rings. I was informed that the required forms of payment were mail-order, or AMEX. I felt better mailing in a personal check, so that is the route I went.
Anyway, glad to be a part of the forum, thanks. |

I have had 1 bad experience - Cohen and I have ordered at least 10,000 (yes not exaggerating!) online orders (not all coins). 1 company has failed to send - Cohen.

Ummmm, the forum topic is RHODIUM COINS. Has anyone complained to the BBB? Cohen has two complaints on the site last I checked.
A woman named Jessica Martell is listed as the President of Cohen Mint according to the BBB.
