The post office "tracking #" is not a true tracking # like Fed Ex or UPS. It is a delivery confirmation #. The number is listed in their system as soon as someone prints the PayPal shipping label, even if they don't get the package down to the PO.
It only shows as being received at the post office of origin if they scan it when the seller drops the package off at the post office. My local post office tells me they do not "have to" scan the bar code on preprinted labels. You know how they hate to do any actual work.. especially if you are dropping off 70 pound flat rate boxes. So often the seller has no real proof the package was shipped at the post office. The only time there is an entry for that delivery confirmation # is when it is scanned at the other end. That is, if they remember to scan it when it gets there. The confirmation only proves that it was scanned when delivered, not that they actually delivered it to the correct address. It is a "delivery confirmation number", not a "tracking number."  |

You are not alone! I placed an order 7/28/09 for a copper round and bar. Promises that it would be processed in 2-5 days and at the outset 2-3 weeks, and rarely 4 weeks and the improbability of 6 weeks. I got a response email also stating it had been shipped, but the number given as USPS tracking only stated that it was electronically recieved as a pkg to be sent and none had yet been received. I was told 4 weeks later that it should b here within the week. Now 7 weeks since the order still no pkg and no further answers via email have been ignored and never received any telephone call backs . I did file a formal complaint with New York Better Business Bureau to see if they can help. Interestingly enough E.Cohen didn't process my payment (also thru Paypal) until the Sept. billing cycle of my account. Still - no pkg to date! I would think PayPal will help me at this point and they are next to be contacted for assistance. The New York BBB will try to resolve my complaint with what will be at this point a refund. We will see. Done believing this company - E.Cohen_ is ligit! Sounds like scam to me!  Initially the purchase was through a link from goldfortomorrow.com, they may be changing names of ownership to avoid liability? They definitely flunk the smell test!!!! |

Just contact Paypal by PHONE. It takes some time to get a real human being but once you mention the words "Cohen Mint" the refund will probabaly be instant. It was for me. |

| I placed my order on 9/1/09 for two coins. I called Cohen Mint at 1-800-430-1452 and after 2 rings they picked up and confirmed my order and said it will ship today and will arrive in a few days. He said they are a couple weeks behind on shipping. I will keep you posted on when I receive them. Looks like they have some new coins posted on their website as well. |

Looks like he ordered these before this whole thread even existed.
I just don't understand why people/companies sell stuff they don't have. Even if you guys do end up getting your bullion coins, I know I will never buy anything from the Cohen Mint. |

| In this day and age, negative word of mouth can be devastating to a business. Word travels quickly and widely on the Internet. Although I'd bet cash4gold will be hurt less than the Cohen Mint, due to the attentiveness of their respective audiences. |

Paypal probably has some sort of "maximum number of returns" before they just shut you down.
If someone risks buying something from Cohen, use Amex. You have protection that way. Try getting a $100 check back from someone some time. It costs at least $500 in man hours to do so :)
Also to the "I'm never buying online" guy -> You will be missing out on STELLAR deals. Amazon.com alone is more than enough reason to shop online. That coupled with this site and numerous others makes a solid case to buy online SAFELY! It will save you time and money! |

| yesterday Paypal advised they were crediting my account for the amount of the cohen mint order. to my surprise the cohen mint order arrived via usps today. the order was accurate. i have not heard from cohen mint why there was a 8 week delay and i suppose at this point in time it really doesn't matter. i hope anyone else who is awaiting there order receives it in a better time frame. good luck |

| My brother and I both got our money back via Paypal about two months ago. There was a website ordering glitch at the time we ordered. We both ordered 10 rhodium coins for a total of $95.49 for all 10 coins. Thus I never expected Eitan Cohen to ship. He never contacted me, so I very quickly filed a claim. He never responded to Paypal, so our money quickly returned. |

| I placed my order on 9/1 for 2 coins and I just received them today 10/1 in the mail. So if you order from Cohen Mint, be patient. There is about a 30 day turn around. I am happy that I did get the coins eventually. |

Sorry but I waited for more than 30 days and no show. Honestly Cohen sounds like he is doing this as a side-gig. Sometimes he decides to ship, other times he doesn't. (Mostly he decides not to ship.)

| I ordered Niobium and Tantalum coins, maybe there is a wait on the Rhodium coins. They answered the phone when I called. Maybe I got lucky, not sure. |

I called them again today. No answer.
I noticed their website offers "free shipping". Which makes sense, you can't charge for something that doesn't even exist :)
Cohen Mint is about equal to mud around here. Other than "Sharkman" and "mes" no one here has received anything, not even a message saying, "so sorry we need to delay shipping."
I've called them on 5 separate occasions using 3 different phone numbers (I wanted to see if they were avoiding me) and left 2 messages. So far zero returned calls, no word whatsoever.
I have to try hard not to think Sharkman and mes are just "shills" :) No offense :) |
