A metal engine lathe........in what is to come it will come very handy in order to do "favors" for some people that might need a small job done.
I just got it last week and yesterday I made $235.00 for 3.3 hours of work.....and I waesn't even trying to get a client, it just fell on my lap.
As an X machinest from 25 years ago I am happy to say that I haven't forgotten much.

Yeah, pictures. Sweet buy.

With a good metal lathe and some skill, the world is your oyster!
Anyone interested in getting one should check around with local vo-tech high schools or colleges. Lots of old manual lathes are being discarded in favor of newer CNC machines. You might be able to pick one up cheap.
Good deal Ponce, many happy metal shavings to ya!

To tell you the truth the lathe is 100% better than what I expected for the price that I paid....... it is a "Gizzly" 12X36 metal lathe that cost me only $3,200 and it includes shipping.
Everything was well protected and tight.
If you want to see my new lathe to to "Grizzly.com" and look for the model number "G4003G", it is called a "gunsmith's lathe". |
