What do you guys do with Eisenhower dollars? I always ask for them when I go to banks, and right now I have almost 100. I'm gonna try to put together a set, but I don't know what to do with the rest. Are they worth more than face, and if so do you think a local dealer would buy them, or is it better just to spend them as dollars?

| I can't say I know much about them, but there is a guy in the local trade paper that sells them for $3 a piece or $200 for a tray of 100. So maybe there is something to them? I don't really deal with numismatics or non-bullion items though, so maybe someone in that area could tell you more about them. -Mike |

I don't think there's too much value there on Eisenhower dollars, except for the 1971-1976 silver 40% clads with an "S" mintmark.
Someone on RealCent (just can't remember who), sells the common ones at Tag Sales on Saturday for $1.50 each as curiousity items to those who visit his table. |

I'll save a few AU ones, but other than that I will hand them out to young family members at Christmas, Birthdays etc...
I ask too for them... |

I always ask for them and hold on to them. They are worth a dollar.
I like to give them as gifts. They are fun, but if they are spent they are worth thier face vaule. |
Silver Monometalism is the most permanent and stable form of money the world has seen. Natural law and history prove silver value is best multiplied by gold and best divided by copper. It is only in this counterfeit currency time when the natural law appears suspended. |

| I wish there was a buyer of these. I have acess to several thousand dollars worth. I might even sell them at $1.05 each if someone paid the shipping. |
