I have noticed an increase in the 90% premiums. Tulving selling 90% at spot+69c, buying at spot+20c. However, they are selling 40% halves at spot-25c, buying at spot-70c. It looks like there is less demand for the 40%. Many folks could also be trading up the quality in their silver stash by selling the 40%ers.
There is now about a $1 differential in spot when valuing 90% silver against the 40% halves.

Hi there-
Quality talks. I have nothing against 40%, but 90% consists of a solid silver coin, while 40% is an alloyed mix. Yes, they're both silver, and nobody will turn their nose up at either, but 90% just has more meat to it. However, I used to sell 40% whenever I got about 3-4 rolls worth, but nowadays I'm too scared; I keep everything!!
Been getting Canadian silver for a steal..... :D
