Just found my 3rd indian since i started sorting a couple months ago.

its a 1903 with fully readable Liberty.

Major congrats, Merc49! Keep checking your zinc pile for IH's. I was a bit slow to realize that the zinc pile was where the IH's would likely land, so I was about 500,000 pennies into my sorting before I found my first IH, so who knows how many I may have missed?

Thanks Nickelless. I am hand sorting now, but I ordered my ryedale a couple days ago. Any and all ryedale tips and tricks are greatly appreciated.

Merc, how many boxes have you been through hand-sorting? I haven found a single indian!

Go to the equipment section. Theres plenty of tips in the threads down there!

#1 most important thing. Keep the Ryedale regualy lubed up with Dri Slide!

Ive been through about 80 boxes. The indian i found last night came from a boxed roll. the two that i found before came from a customer wrapped roll at my bank.
