So I picked up a 1921 in F condition and 1940 in VF condition...

I don't think there is any numis value on these, but what is the melt value? I paid $2 each for them...

Thanks.

You can go to this link:

Find out your ASW (Actual Silver Weight) times Silver Spot ($15.27 on 6/5/09) = $ intrinsic silver value

1921 half crown is 0.5 Silver 0.2250 oz. ASW = $3.44
1940 half crown is 0.5 Silver 0.2273 oz. ASW = $3.47

Hopes this helps. I enjoy collecting world coins regardless of condition.
