I have a friend who wants to sell me a silver eagle set. It is either full or partially full as in 21 coins. He "might" kepp the 2 or 3 like the '96.
What is a decent price range or what would you offer. He supposedly did a lot of searching to pick his coins when putting it together.
*Edit: Is $400 a fair price? Is there room for profit at that? Wjat is your opinion?

The silver [is] mine, and the gold [is] mine, saith the LORD of hosts. Hag 2:8 [/b] He created it. He controls it. He gave it to us for His use. Why did we turn from sound scriptural currency that PROTECTS us?

If you are buying the set as part of a collection, I would not want any better dates pulled out. Also, you have to see the coins to know whether they are brillant first strikes or some ordinary toned stuff. Even a photo of the coins can help here. The quality of the coins offered will give you something on which to base the purchase.
If you are buying the coins for bullion, offer bullion prices on what you can purchase. |
