I don't have my grading books on hand, but I'd guess VF on the '65 and XF on the '75, but with the crack I'd go to VF on that too. |

1875 - Planchet crack around "United States" does not detract from my grade of VF-30. Small diggs and nicks on the face and neck, and there appears to be a little too much wear on the ribbon. Nice coin.
1865 - Cut nearby "BE" of Liberty does detract a half grade and I would grade this coin F-15. Without the cut, it would be a VF-20; more if it had clean surfaces like the 1875. Very little wear on the ribbon and lower hair curls makes it a very nice coin. |

I'd go XF40 for both. Really nice coins compared to what is available in those coins. People forget that some coins were more harshly handled in the old days than others. Indian Cents are as a rule fairly worn all the time so a decent one like yours is an exception. |
