I stopped by my bank today to make a deposit. I asked the teller if they had any half rolls and he said that they probably did in the vault. I told him I'd like 2 rolls if they were available. He brought me 2 rools out, but I didn't have no luck. A guy at my Dad's barber shop bought my two rolls from me. I think I'll start getting a couple of half rolls each time I go to the bank. I can always dump them at the gas station or Wally world when I go there [yeah give me $10 on pump #3, and oh, you don't mind if I pay you in halfs do you?].
I normally dont do that because it'll mean that the shops will turn your skunk rolls back into various banks. And as you're going around looking for CWRs, you'll get your own skunks back because you spread them around. It's far better to dump them at a bank that keeps them in a central vault so they're concentrated there.
I see your point. The guy at my Dad's shop said that he was going to hang onto the $20 worth I sold him (why, I don't know), so I know that those 40 coins won't be in circulation soon.
I bought 2 more rolls at another bank today for a total of 4 rolls. I shunked on those 2 also. I bought $10 worth of gas at a busy gas station/truck stop near I-75. They always have a show at the register begging for coins, so I pretty sure those halfs will be spread out and dispersed.
