This is my first post. I have been enjoying this hobby for almost a year. Love it! My bank has now started charging 3.50 per $25 box. Amegy Bank is the culprit. I went to several branches..my result was three charged and one did not, so I will go there until they charge but then I will be forced to change banks. I hope this is not a trend. What can we do?

Try other banks. A bank that charges for rolls is a great candidate for dump bank status. Sell them rolls/boxes so they can sell them to other customers. You are doing them a great favor.

jadedragon is correct. Shop around for several different source and dump banks. Do not pay fees. Good luck and welcome.

Notice how 3 of the branches charged, and 1 did not. That usually means it is a branch by branch decision. Never pay a fee, but start looking for other banks to source your pennies. If you are going to be paying fees for unsearched boxes, you would probably be better off just buying presorted copper from other members. I think Guarantee Bank is in your area.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available.
