I hardly ever scrap, but when I was walking the dogs last night, I saw that my neighbor had cleaned out his garage. I was really checking to see if he had any clean, empty five gallon buckets ( ), but he had something better:

He was throwing out copper tubing. It was rolled up neatly in two bundles, probably 30 feet of 1/2" diameter tubing.

Wonder how much it weighs?

I bought some for around a dollar a foot for a stove gas line. Prolly is worth more as an item then as scrap. But if you don't get any takers it's always worth its copper weight!

Don't forget coils of Cu tubing come in mighty handy to cool down and re-liquify vaporized volatile substances that you may want to remove from a watered down state.
It's easier than you'd think.
Just another Cu use if you'd be so inclined ;)
