Did anyone catch the 60 Minutes Segment on Cold Fusion tonight? They showed a possible use for palladium involving cold fusion.
I myself wouldn't enter the palladium market and don't have any intention to as I know very little about the nature of the metal, but it'll be interesting to see if this renewed interest in cold fusion has any effect on palladium prices for the next few weeks.
I could see the hydrogen absorbing qualities of palladium having some economically important application, whether it's cold fusion or something else. Either way I don't think the price can really go down too far from where it is now. Worst case the price stays low for a few years.
I saw a piece of that last night. Pretty interesting and I had no idea palladium could be used for that purpose. It will be interesting to follow how this plays out and what effect it has on the palladium market. Like you, I dont know enough about the metal to speculate on it, so I will stick with copper, silver and gold for now.
My hobby: collecting real money 1 copper cent or nickel at a time.
