I just opened a bag of CWR that I got from the credit union that has 45 dollars worth of pennies labeled by year and mint. About 20 dollars worth is labeled as of years prior to 1982 including 7 rolls of 1959-d. What would you do with the other 25 dollars worth? Keep them or take them back? They are listed with the year, mint and either au or unc. I peeked in a couple of rolls and the dates and year are labeled correctly. Should I just put the entire bag in storage and be glad that they were pre sorted?

As an individual with OCD I take no offense to that. I've learned to embrace it and make it work for me. For example, all of my coins are neatly stacked around the house in piles. Mind you, I cannot walk around without knocking one over, but then I just clean it up and start all over! |
As far as I know, it is stated "In God We Trust" on the US dollar. How can I trust this currency if I do not believe in God?

| Wow! why would someone spent all that time sorting their pennies only to turn them into the bank? If you have the room and can spare the $25, I would keep them. Who knows, you may be able to sell some of them on ebay $1 and $2 plus postage. |

| I got some dimes that were sorted by year and labeled a couple months ago (all post-2000 canadian steel). I thought it was strange but I couldn't think of a good reason to keep them. I could have researched errors to look for I guess but I've never been that interested in collecting error coins. |

| Keep them! I've gotten rolls already sorted and labeled and I kept all of them. They are copper not zinc so they are already worth more than one cent each. |

| Maybe someone sorted them, and someone else (wife, kids etc) took them to the bank. |

| Most likely they weren't turned in by the person who rolled them... I'd go back and see if the bank has any other coins turned in by the same person, maybe there'll be some silver in thar :) |
Considering Verizon Business service? Perhaps you'd like to consider a nice drain cleaner enema instead? |
