HELLO I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THIS FORUM FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS I FEEL LIKE FAMILY STARTED OUT COPPER PENNIES AND HAVE MOVED UP TO SILVER I HAVE BEEN DOING ABOUT 4 TO SIX BAGS OF HALVES A MONTH NOW SINCE DECEMBER ONLY A FEW SKUNKS PRETTY GOOD SOURCE THRU DUNBAR ONE OF MY ONLY SKUNKS WAS TWO BAGS FROM BRINKS I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCES NOW I WILL NOT GETTING RICH JUST HAVING FUN

Hi Wizard. I like doing halves as well. I have a hard time finding bags of them though. I ask for them ,but... and since I work on and sell that sort of equipment it puts me in sort of a good position to find them. Still, they are hard to find in full bags. So far, anything I find in a machined rolled roll, is all the same year and mint mark, like its been setting in someones inventory for quite a while. They aren't new, just not silver! Who is Dunbar? Are the an Armored Car service or bank?

| Thanks, Deal. The armored car service I deal with is'nt prepared to sell me full bags of halves because they are'nt the main depot and won't pull them off for me on the way to the main depot. But they have mentioned they don't see many go through. Who knows what the real reasons are. Thanks again for the info. |
