Tearing open the $1k I bought yesterday anxiously awaiting my artist(hurry up nicky).Just glancing into the 5 gal bucket I'm opening them into and found a few wheats(one was a 17 in F) and a few Georges(even though they are supposedly rarer then IHP's) then a worn wheatie plopped into the bucket and lo and behold an 09!!!! Can't find the S or the VDB but will keep checking it

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams
trust me I would've loved to find an 2009 over a 1909 evn if it was a vdb.It would mean there are likely more in the box and that means $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

You are finding George V or the newer George VI (no crown)? A grand of pennies will keep your Ryedale busy for a few hours... sounds like fun.

That would be the VI. Finding a George the V in circulating US coins is rarer then finding an Indian. I find 1 George the V for every 4 Indians I find. Nice finds by the way!
