1981 US cent=bronze cent (copper alloy)
1996 Canadian cent=bronze cent (copper alloy)

1982 US cent=some were bronze some were copper coated zinc
1997 Canadian cent=copper coated zinc

Per coinflation, one bronze cent = .0201¢ metal value
end result, you double your money finding a copper cent, US or Canadian.
