I picked up $67.50 in CRW's while picking up my weekly boxes at one of my banks.

These are my interesting finds.

1 Plastic Penny ( what is the melt value on these)
1 PGA Tour Partners Club Official Member token
2 1998 Canadian Pennies
1 5 Cent Euro ( that thing was stuffed in a roll)
1 1966m Cinco Centavos

List your finds. I am sure everone has a good story to tell.

You don't have to be the BEST you just have to be.......SLICK

Out of about three boxes here are my finds:

80 Canadian copper pennies (pre-1997) - I rolled the first 50

20 Canadian zinc and/or steel pennies (post 1997)

30 Wheat pennies - the oldest being 1920

2 dimes (1 tar covered)

1 Barely recognizable Indian Head penny - Can't tell the year

1 two cent Euro coin - Two Cents? I'd like to hear the rationale behind the minting of this coin.

1 Bermuda Penny

My copper percentages run between 25% and 30% (closer to 30% more recently).

These are all from bags. Last six months or so worth of finds:

.4 gram, 10k gold necklace.
Four silver dimes. Two Mercury, two Roosevelt's.
Four Indians.
200+ dimes.
Six quarters.
Four nickels.
Several foreign coins, one as yet unidentified one.
A couple of punched pennies.
Two plastic pennies.
Watch battery.
Two paper clips.
Two examples of drug paraphernalia(sp?)....
Among assorted pieces of unidentified material

Deal

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

THE UGLY: Lots of road salt contaminated pennies (white colored and nasty). Ashtray pennies that stink like ....well an ashtray. Some smelled so much like weed (the illegal stuff) that they would possibly make you fail a drug test from handling them as they were so sticky with resin tar. I needed to take a shower after sorting this box. Ah the joys of inner city penny hunting!
