Silver Santa!
Well, not as BIG as I hoped, but still...
Today, I took a trip to the bank to cash my paycheck and as always I was going to ask for halves as well. When I get to the counter, I see the teller has about four halves in the tray and lo and behold! I see a silver one! So, I already think I am ahead of the game, but I ask anyways if they have more. Turns out another teller has two rolls, so I get those too.
After my 'purchase', I head to the bus stop to get a ride home. While I stand there, I decide to open them. The first roll shocked me. When I opened the end, a Walking Liberty was staring back at me! I was like "WOW!". I proceeded to open the roll in its entirety and it is FULL of Walking Liberties and Franklins. So I hurry and open the second roll and it is SOLID Franklins. Luckily there was no one else at the bus stop to hear my excitedness; however, a couple people across the street looked at me. One of the rolls was a buck short, but I could care less.
So total for today:
$21 searched ($22 paid)
1 40% kennedy
1 1974s proof
16 WLs
22 Franklins
