The best I can do on Ebay is 12 times and usually I have to work to get that. Some of those buyers don't seem to care what they pay. Friday I bid around 12 times for 40 silver quarters and I got outbid by $20. Where do you get 11 times? Craig's List?
Infortunately 12 last week. I probably can find 11.5, but I buy in small increments (less then 10$ face) and I have to consider gas when I look to buy. My dealer less then 2 min away..
He lets me cherry pick all I want. Spent an hr picking out 10$ face of dimes last week.. :)
10$ face of dimes at 12x face... Sorry for the confusion Theo. If I could get less then spot I would max out every credit card and flip it for a tidy profit...
Suprised you guys didnt take my dimes shipped at 11.5 times face in the buy it now section. Everyone is paying 12 plus and when you see a good deal you pass it up lol :P :P hehe

I would, but bad timing. I would say your deal is more then in line with what the market is asking.
My dad is bringing some of his halves when he visits me. Would it be wrong to offer him 10x face for his coins???? I figured it would be about equal perhaps slightly more profit by selling his stuff on Ebay but after the fees and everything then his profit would be about 10x face.
I agree that 12 times is more the spot price. But we all know that what goes up also comes down. I try to stay at 10 times or less. If I don't get the deal there is alway tomorrow.
I paid 9x from a bank teller last week. I was there picking up pennies. She was going to a jewelry store after work, and asked me if I wanted to buy them. She knew I collected coins. I don't know what the jewelry store was paying, but I doubt it was above what I paid. Several Morgans were in the batch. She was happy and I was too. Anyone know what dealers are paying for 90% silver?
