Am I reading this right? Can you really lease silver for one month at 0 percent and 1 year at 1.2% No wonder the price can't get any traction.

I don't know anything about it, but 0% lease on anything for three months just doesn't seem to make sense.

Before getting interested in Nickel, I read a lot about Silver.
Here is a great source of information on how manipulated the Silver market is: Theodore Butler

He has turned in freedom of information reqwests to the CBOT, and NYMEX, etc. He has written "open" letters to the presidents of the commodities brokerages accusing them in public of manipulation, insider trading, fraud, etc. He has kept track of details of the short positions against silver, etc. etc.
It is a long and sorrid tale, but the jist of it is that the price can only be held down artificially via criminal behavior and then only for so long.
In Summer of 2006 (I think it was July?) there was a "failure to deliver" Nickel. That event attracted the attention of many people who otherwise did not care about Nickel. At some point in the future, there will be a failure to deliver silver. I am absolutely certain that that failure will occur. I am betting a big chunk of my life's savings on this. I am not giving anyone any recommendations, but, I am putting my money where my mouth is on this one.
