My main dealer claims 1 - 1.5 x face as the spread.

Ive found 1-2 X face to be the typical spread 2 being a little on the high side

i just called a local guy here in the DC area (Gaithersburg coin) and they wanted 13.7! Does anyone know a good dealer in the DC area?

Made a call to my coin shop and asked how much junk silver would cost me and he said 13X!! At that price I'll stick to searching halves and dimes.
