Here's one link:

I haven't carried as much cash in my belt since I got my 9mm, but for those of you who aren't packing heat on a regular basis--or even if you are--money belts can come in handy. I've found that the easiest way to put the largest number of FRNs inside a money belt is to fold the FRNs twice horizontally, then once or twice vertically so you have about a 1-inch square that can be stuck along the length of the zipper compartment.

I had a similar belt. Just let me say this, questions arise when you have to take it off at airport security....

Actually, I wrap the belt twice around, just to be safe.

They make money belts with no metal for airports and other security areas.

Awake, O kings of the earth! Come ye, O, come ye, with your gold and your silver, to the help of my people, to the house of the daughters of Zion, to the help of the people of the God of this Land even Jesus Christ.

I use one every time I travel internationally. When I went to Mexico two years ago, I stuffed $1000 in there in case of emergency. I also carried with me $100 or so in my pocket, so that if we were mugged, I would give them that money and hoped that would be enough to make them happy (and hoped that they werent smart enough to think of a money belt).

My hobby: collecting real money 1 copper cent or nickel at a time.

Doesn't matter. You have to take your belt and shoes off when you pass through security. "Why are you hiding money?", "There is the money, where's the dope?", you know all those kinds of good questions. For the record my last flight was in June of last year.

Very true...they do make you remove your belt and shoes. I think when I travelled, my money belt was in my carry on bag, and I wore a regular belt while going through the security process.

I've traveling to a less-than-hospitable country in the near future. I have a cheap leather money belt (for cash), and a neck pouch (passport). Any better suggestions? Anything I should look in to?

As far as I know, it is stated "In God We Trust" on the US dollar. How can I trust this currency if I do not believe in God?

Possession is nine-tenths of the law.

When I give my two cents, they're always copper!

You can also carry several 1-ounce gold coins very easily inside a money belt.
