I was just peering over the top of my glasses and it occurred to me that without them, I can't see long distances and could be in a bad situation if TSHTF and something happens to my glasses. I've kept the pair I had with my old prescription, so if I don't get a chance to get a spare pair with my current prescription, I at least have the last one and can wear those. There are a lot of people out there with much worse vision than mine who could really benefit from having an extra pair of glasses. I think glasses would be a lot better than contacts WTSHTF.
