Last night I found an odd coin. After looking around on ebay I realize I have a 1819 1 Real from Spain. Looks like it goes for around $25+ dollars, although nobody had the same year up for bid, so I am not sure. I just can't believe I found an 1819 coin in the wild!

Cool on the find, but I see nothing....

Deal

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

I tried to post the pictures of front and back. I can see them, but if nobody else can, I am not sure what is wrong. My first time trying to post pictures.

Alright, so you tried my idea of posting the link in the C: directory. Apparently that doesn't work. I would suggest opening up a Photobucket account and loading them there. Or, maybe we can set up an account for everyone on the forum to use? Hm...

I found this in a Brinks roll. I was surprised because this is larger than a penny. I figure this would have ended up in a reject bin or something.

I bought one once but not in nearly as good a condition as that!

Fabulous find!

I change with the times-
but like silver coins found in your change
I stay the same.
