You know, I think I could try some properly prepared, (see cooked), insects. I've had chocolate covered ants. Tasted like a Crunch bar, not too bad....

When I was a kid I was into Euell Gibbons' book Stalking the Wild Asparagus, but I've lost track of my copy. I think he wrote other books on wild foods as well.
