i was at the coin shop today buying some 90%) and asked how much they pay for scrap gold. They said $12 a pennyweight...so $240 an oz. is this normal? i was expecting 50-60% of the spot value not 29%!
my man gave me his formula on what he pays per pennyweight,
spot minus five
10k .0191 14k .0270 16k .031 18k .033 22/24 .04
