Hi all-

NEVER EVER found a silver quarter in rolls, but let me lay the story on ya'll.

I had just gotten skunked on $1000 of halves, so needless to say sorting was the furthest from my mind. However, my family is having a poker party on new years eve and asked me to get a box of quarters for everybody to use.

I didn't want to wear out my welcome at my half-dollar bank, so I went to a different branch of my bank across town. I ask for a box of quarters when she opens the safe, I see they literally have about 20 boxes of quarters.

Anyway, in summation, I got a box of quarters, and lo, a 1964 D quarter!!!

Nice work if you can get it!

Only when they CAN'T have it, ......THEN they'll want it.

I love Cents. If you get an UNC box, you win. If you get a regular circ. box, you win. If you get a zinc box, you don't lose....so you still win.

Indeed a lucky find. Hopefully your luck stays the same for your game tonight. Congratulations.

Deal

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

Awesome find!

I found a mercury dime, a 1959 quarter, and a buffalo nickel (date worn out), and quite a few wheaties (wasn't hoarding at the time :D) a few years back working as a cashier at my former-college bookstore.

Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
