I am very pleased. A few days ago I got a 1924-S out of a nickel roll, KEY DATE in G condition.
Alright then today, I actually found a 1926 buffalo nickel as well! Too bad it wasn't an S mint :P |

I brought down a 1935 tonight, but I'm not sure it should count. It has been annihilated. It isn't recognizable on either side, but the date stands out like a sore thumb. It's pitted and gouged terribly. I think somebody was playing with acid to pull the date out and destroyed the coin. |

Anybody want to guess at the odds of finding a buffalo in a machine wrapped roll? I have found 0 out of $400-$500. Last night I finished going through 3 boxes and found 3 silver war nickels. Also is there a market for rolls of "pre-war" nickels or maybe pre-50s nickels?
I am not sure what else if anything I should be saving. Assume that I am doing a very fast search and only checking backs and some dates on older looking coins. |

Any idea about how many boxes you have looked through? |

I didn't really find this one, but I bought one off my buddy for a buck.
Not sure if that's a good deal or not.? Worn badly |

I've gone through 4 boxes, I found one in the first, 2 in the second, and a war nickel in the last 2.

I found 1 dateless last night. I average about 1 every box (not counting solid date boxes). |

Just added a 1936 and a dateless to my ever growing herd, for a year total of 5. The funny part about this box is both of these buffalos were on the end of the rolls. The 1936 had the buffalo showing and the dateless had the Indian head showing. And in my $20 customer rolls there was a war nickel on the end. I didn't even need to look through the rolls to get all the good stuff , but I did anyway. |

I found my first one this morning...a dateless. I went through at least 12 boxes to find one (12 boxes this year and some last year). But I can't complain as I have been finding lots of other good stuff including many war nickels (close to 1 per box), a 1922 Canadian in very good condition, and a 1950 D. |

After losing the trail for a month, I have picked up the scent and bagged a dateless... Please add one to my total. :)
Nice pick up on the 50D Horgad, those are almost impossible to find in circulation!!! |

after having sorted $2000 I got a buff, on the end of a plastic wrapped roll. so put the roll aside, without even looking to see if there is a date. i also do this with the few rolls i find that have a wheatback showing.

Got a dateless one yesterday, looks to have been cleaned a bit, too. |
I enjoy taking long walks off short piers. |

Bagged a second buffalo today - good condition, a 1937. Not bad for two buffalos out of three boxes! |
