| rainsonme- I'm in Metro Atlanta...Interestingly, I found a half about a month ago with a sticker on it from a restaurant in Hilton Head, SC. I dumped it and it resurfaced a month later...Hmmmmmmm. It's getting frustrating to say the least. |

Yes at one bank back in Indiana they had the wrappers for halves in $20 increments. But I don't think I ever got halves in these rolls....just the empty new wrappers. |

Another bank has added a 5 cent fee per roll fee and I will no longer be getting halves from them.
That leaves 2 banks locally where I have accounts and can order halves without charge. One is my dump bank!
I still find some silver there but only a very rare sweet box.
Fortunately there are plenty of branches so I don't dump at the same branch where I order boxes.
I will have to broaden my bank search. It's hard to quit!

| Mr. ZeroCd, I don't think it does any good to dump your rejects into a different branch of the same bank you get your boxes/bags from. Most of these banks have an armored service that picks up and delivers. You should ask each branch who their amored service is. If its the same one for both branches, you are polluting your pool. If the dump bank is a different amored service, then you won't be sorting the same coins again. You may need to open a small account at some bank with a different amored service for dumping. |
