Maybe totals should be at the top and just edited for updates. Just a suggestion.

Found a 9 dime box. Went back to bank and asked the teller if I could have another box with the same inspection date. She found me one and I am half way through it. 6 dimes so far. Went back later with candy and asked that if its possible to reserve those boxes with the same number. My last two boxes of halves gave 3 - 1969's. Will pick up more halves tues and wed.
Update: Finished that second box I went back after. 13 silver roos with a 49d that I didn't have. If ya get a better than usual loomis box of dimes it pays to cut the number out of the carboard on the bottom and take it back to the bank. If you are in good with the teller, give them that number and ask for more boxes with that same number. I think the bank that gave me the two boxes with 9 dimes and 13 dimes, has more with the same inspection number. The problem is that they can only give me so many or they will short their business customers short for dimes. So....tomorrow I will go to other banks and buy other boxes, then go to the bank with the boxes with the desired inspection numbers and trade boxes. In that way, I get the boxes I want, and the bank doesn't run short of dimes.
PS: If I can find a 1945 roos, I will have all years for roos dimes. I'm betting that since 1945 was in the WWII years, that it will be hard to find.

If you find one, get me one too. cwgii is right, '46 is the first year of Roosevelt dimes. Good luck on your search though....

Thanks folks. I was thinking 45 was a roos. This means I have all years for roos, something I've been striving for. I just got that 1949d that gave me all years for roos. |

Last nights results:
$200 in nickels searched - 6 war nickels $1000 in halves - 3 90% " " - 11 40% " " - 1 NIFC (2002 D)
Decent results. One box of halves was a skunk. Not too many 2001-D or 2000-P coins in this latest haul. Every time I get halves it is a different theme to my results. Last week I swear I had over 50% in 2001-D's .
RC 2009 Total:
Total nickels searched: $2,220 30 war nickels.
Total dimes searched: $2,355 26 US dimes. 3 Canadian dimes.
Total ½'s searched: $ 10,871.50 107 40%. 21 90%. 5 Proofs. 5 NIFCs.

Two boxes halves I paid $10.00 for. 1. The box was $1.50 over, so box cost $8.50 instead of $10.00 2. 1981 s proof 3. 1 - 1964 AU 4. 1 - 1965 AU 5. 3 - 1967 6. 3 - 1968
I suppose that's worth $8.50
