i got 6 dimes in one roll today. 1.04$ roll of pennies. probably my highest profit margin to date. since i have not been one of the lucky ones . to find 1909 etc.
I remember drooling when a fellow sorter I know got a penny bag full of cupro-nickel coins. When the teller brought it out, she explained that they were having a problem with the counter and there there were a bunch of nickels, dimes, and quarters mixed in. They apologized and asked if he still wanted the bag. He said he had to bite his tongue to keep from smiling as he said yes and took the bag.
When all was said and done, he said he cleared $200 in non-pennies from the bag. Talk about luck.
