Sure people here buy them. Just depends on how much you are asking. See we as a group are, well say, thrifty. Many have here Ryedales and can just sort for their own too easily to justify paying too much for them. Some sell on eBay but right now I hear the market is down....

Deal

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."
- Samuel Adams

I recently sold a 5 lb bag for 16.95. It is very thin at the moment though.

Welcome Highroller. Yes some of us buy copper pennies. Some sell copper pennies. A few of us fools actually do both. I still buy them all the time... but right now I'm only buying from the bank for face. Then again, I've got nearly 50% Cu yield, over a grand of coin handling equipment, 9 or 10 Canadian bank/credit union relationships and 2 US based accounts that all help facilitate this little hobby. Others may find it easier to just buy pennies from fellow collectors.
