Ant, you're 100% correct, I've been to flea markets where the metal detector folk have what appears to be chunks of brown and green dirt that they are trying to sell as IHP's for anywhere between $.25 to $1.00 each.
Did you have to add "that word" to the spell check dictionary?

There's profit if you melt things!!

agreed. I've never seen them for $.7 apiece. At coinshows, I'll see them from $1-$1.75, just for circulated common dates.

I agree you should really see them first. At flea markets there is always someone with a pile of those for about that or much less. Most are difficult to tell what they are. G-4 even would be OK compared to what I've seen being sold. At coin shows they all are over that price but usually at least G-8. If those are really bad they are just a pile of Copper.
