Just curious...why do you say silver will drop bigtime this week, and what do you mean by bigtime? What level do you expect it to hit?

It's hard to say my reasons of thinking why, but I feel that there are too numerous of situations at play this week and month, that even mentioning a few would mean I must explain myself "fully" and I have not the energy to type paragraphs.

We can all hope it does or pray it never reaches rock bottom, but it could go as low as $3.75/oz., if let's say [i]Obama saves the world and creates world peace
, and every nation believes again in the US dollar. Lately there has been a renewed faith in the dollar (the world realized who would win our election before we even had voting day)and it will continue to rise against other currencies on a slow but steady path. It will climb until we have a major disaster of war like proportions (example: terrorist attack) and then depending on how President-elect Obama handles the situation in the eyes of the world we will find out if the world has a renewed faith in us as a nation and the dollar will continue to rise and silver could go as low as $3.75/oz. within the next 2 years.

Now again this week I think has many factors involved, and not to ramble but the China relief package is a disguise, and our relief package is a disguise it is all a big game. There are about 3 countries in the entire world that benefit from our "current" state of the economy. I will mention only one: China. As long as the dollar gets stronger China gets stronger and wealthier. The End.

There is a faith among the nation for Obama and it seems the world. (I voted a honorary write in for Ron Paul) This is a legendary time we live in and as poetic as it may or may not be, much of the world was unbelieving of the news until it finally had been declared. Astonishment and rejoicing from most nations of Africa, and from Australia, and other countries with large portions of the population of African descent as well. They could not believe a man of African descent could ever have been elected in the USA. That paints a grim picture of how the world views us. or maybe not now. either way he is Our president and we shall hope he does his job right, and silver continues to drop.

I won't go on I have already said too much. written as thought and it is NOT edited for language, or nudity so approach with caution, not responsible for accidents or injuries.

last minute prediction for closing on Friday Nov. 14, 2008 for silver spot is: under $8.50/oz. I am hoping it may get super accelerated by Friday and drops to $7.75/oz. but that is not my official expectation. officially and realistically $8.50 or less.

Being in for the long term, if it drops, it drops. I will continue to dollar cost avg my stack and go from there. I am sitting with approx **** with an avg cost of $14.50/oz. If it drops to $4.00, well then I spend the same amount I did for the **** and end up with approx **** at a dollar cost avg of what $8.00oz? A little lazy right now and tired. I see it eventually trending up in the next 25-30yrs, it must....

Just a quick word of advice...it's never a good idea to disclose how much you have whether your hoard is small, modest, or large.

With that said, I would love to have 120 oz. I thought I was doing ok with a roll of Washington quarters and 3 40% halves.

My hobby: collecting real money 1 copper cent or nickel at a time.

I found two silver dimes the other day....

Deal

Live free or die.
Plain and simple.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your council or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

well, I hoped it drop lower this week, but next week is looking good to. It may never get as low as $3.75/oz. but then again I never thought oil would get back down to $50/barrel.

Well fill up the gas tank folks while it's still cheap and spend the rest on silver if you can find it.

If anybody could post a location West of the Mississippi selling at spot plus $.25, (remember those days?) please do so with all haste!
I'm pretty sure I could come out ahead if I could buy at least $2K (MORE or less) at that spread with the current gas price.
Of course, I'd have to take the '08 Subaru (instead of the '67 Rivera, 430 Nail Head, last year with the full bore intake manifold) to really maximize the total net gain on the trip.

I kid you not, I use to buy circulated ASEs for 50 cents over spot and spot was between $9-$14 when I did so. One thing for sure, small bar silver is in demand.

I picked up some really nice "Art" bars and rounds from the pawn shops in Sparks, NV in 1986 for spot + $0.15.
Got some nice Morgans for 90% of spot + $0.30 from the same shops on that trip, too.

Ouch that's a hefty premium but I feel it too as I bought one back in mid October for $157 shipped. I've wanted a Mexican Libertad for a while and so I picked up 2 of them at APMEX for $50 shipped, theyre dated 2,000 and only 340,000 minted. The premium was heavy but its a beautiful coin.
