Ok I know that if you consistently take buffalo's and war nickels out of a finite supply, you will begin to have diminishing returns so to speak. What I don't know is.......How fast should that occur? I've been getting nickels from six different bank locations and I live in a town of 65,000 people with at least 25 banks. Its hard to imagine that my sorting would have a significant impact on the amount of buffalos and war nickels in the supply. Nevertheless, the boxes I have been getting are having less rewards than what was there when I first started sorting coins other than pennies (9/19/08). Take dimes for example....The first box I got one silver, second box...2 silvers...third box....none....fourth box....2 silvers...the next three boxes have been skunks. The last couple of nickels have been skunks. From my background in math, I know that the unlikely event will sometimes buck the trend. I hope thats whats happening now. I'll know more in the upcoming week. Good luck.
