Ive been digging through pennies for a few years now looking for wheat pennies or anything else I could find that was interesting.
A couple of months ago I started thinking it would be easier to find those pennies I want if I could sort out the copper. After searching for awhile and doing some research I found that I wanted a Ryedale sorter. The price kept making me put it off. Well, long story short, found one on Ebay last Friday! The seller put me onto these forums and I spent all day Saturday reading threads.
I havent got my machine in the mail yet, but Im looking forward to it arriving even more now.
And to think I just turned my pre 1982 pennies in all this time... Im not really interested in hoarding coppers. I will probably be selling a good chunk of coppers each month (at least until the Ryedale is paid for). I have access to as many pennies as I want to buy. I think the hard part is going to be getting rid of the zincs!
By the way, any S. Florida people here?

| Welcome to the club. These crszy nuts have been very helpful to me and I am in north FL. in Jacksonville. So stay outta my back yard (j/k) you are more than welcome here in jax. I am a firm believer in the errors also like Computer Jones said. I found a 83 DDR and 5 wide am's just recently, so good luck in your hunt. |
