Today, Dec. 1st, 2006, I went to my local coin shop and asked to buy silver rounds.

For the second time in a row, he said, "We don't have any silver rounds and we can't get any." The first time he said that was about a month ago (early Nov, 2006).

He even called the "sister store" across town and sure enough they confirmed, "No silver rounds, none at all."

I wound up buying silver bars; a 10 ounce bar, a five ounce bar, and most of his remaining one ounce bars.

He has some pre 1921 silver dollars, but he is just about out of 99.9% silver in any size or shape.

Is this happening elsewhere?

A billiard ball dropped from 1,362 feet (height of the South Tower) in a
vacuum would require 9.22 seconds to hit the ground. How then did the
towers collapse in 10 seconds and 11.4 seconds, and why has not one
member of the mainstream media insisted on honest answers from the
government in this regard?

I keep hearing that on different sites. No problem getting silver around here. No sir, no problem at all.

My area seem to be a great place to buy, but I'm a little worried about when I go to sell.

Until one month ago, You could have heard me say, "No problem getting silver around here."

Selling is a VERY different issue.
In "normal" times, you just walk into the coin shop with metal and walk out with "cold hard" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA cash.

Months ago on GIM they asked the same question you did today. Nothing changed around here ever since then. I hope they go short on silver around here though. If I should sell it would only mean a better price for me.

The place I bought most of my .999 silver when I started was at the one coin store in Waterloo that sold .999 silver. Now it's closed.

Would you be interested in starting a bullion business in your area?

Try EBAY. There are over 5000 bars and rounds listed right now. You must be logged in to see this link.
