You must be logged in to see this link.

I-95 outside of Orlando is closed right now. A truck from the Philadelphia mint crashed and spilled $182,000 worth of nickels all over the highway.

That's 3,640,000 nickels. Per the article, "that amounts to nearly three million coins." (Is my math wrong?)

No one would compete with you for those nickels, because so few people will stop to pick up change.

Got word from the mint that they will send out a replacement truck to stock my BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. vault on Friday. BTW, $50,000 = one million nickels.

When I saw that story I thought it was Ardent's nickels that got dumped on the road.

If we can't afford to pave the streets in Gold, at least we can afford CuNi now.

You must be logged in to see this link. One guy collected 50 pounds of nickels but they took it from him. Interesting photo of nickels being shoveled. These nickels are famous now. Our guys in FL should start selling new but dirty nicks from the crash on ebay. (not)
