If you buy a lot of coin to sort you need to sell or spend a lot of coin. What are the latest, greatest, or funnest ideas the experts and the newbies have come up with? Ways to deposit lots of coin, spend lots of coins? Other solutions?
A couple ideas I've tried with some success:
1. Make small purchases with rolled coin at C-stores 2. Deposit coin in other towns while on road trips (you can get away with big deposits once in a while) 3. Deposit US coin across the border to my US account (slight exchange rate gain)
Ideas I want to explore more:
1. Donating loose or rolled coin to my church, school or the food bank - rational is it is easier for a non-profit to dump coin in bulk because the bank expects them to do coin drives occasionally.
2. Selling coin to my local grocery store (they pay for it now by the roll)
3. Offering rolled coin on craigslist.
