The problem is that he's in Illinois (I'll be in Indiana for the next week before heading back to Kentucky) and Illinois doesn't allow concealed-carry, at least not out-of-state permits even though Indiana is a border state and a lot of other states (Kentucky, for one) have reciprocity on concealed-carry. The state of Illinois hardly allows any weapons at all. |

Seven months? Long time. Our gun purchases around her take 10-15 minutes now. Takes longer to decide on the gun. I'm going through that now as I have been searching for months now. As far as Illinois, you are correct about the gun laws. Horrible laws against self defence. I guess the state guarantees your safety then....
