Well, if it keep on like this, the dollar ought to be worth 2 euros by next week.

***** I could be dead wrong about this assessment but.... *****

Here's what I'm looking at; I see oil, silver and gold tumbling far more than they should based on the change in the oil, or the demand drop, or dollar. At the same time I see the nasdaq & S&P charts rising rapidly, (I don't watch the dow, it's only 30 stocks) but without any jump in volume. - The lack of increased volume indicates to me it's smaller players jumping into the stock market, because larger players cause volume increases. The Nasdaq is approaching the top of a year long trend line which is a downslope. The S&P is also approaching the top of it's similar trend line, although not as close as the nasdaq. All this in the face of rising inflation and declining employment and bank failures. Gas has come down 10% now, so I assume it' no longer an inflationary pressure.

So what is this telling me?
It's a panic rush from commodities into stocks by all those people who fear they will/might have missed the bottom. However, my belief is that this is one heck of a bear market rally in stocks, and that a lot of people will be getting their financial heads handed to them.

The next few days will tell. 100,000 barrels of oil a day come out of georgia, which the news tells me is being invaded by russia, and oil disruptions are possible, yet the oil market is ignoring that completely. GM is still all but doomed.

Something I'm sure is very out of sync here. This whole thing is wayyyy too volatile and indicates some sort of panic reaction.

I'm laughing right now thinking of that jail scene and all the Bruce Lee type sounds Billy Ray was making.

I know some or maybe even most of you may be a little sick to see silver at $14.00, but other than Ponce, very few of us can honestly say we have all the silver on hand that we want. So isn't $14.00 silver really better than $22.00 for most of us right now?

Are you serious? How exactly would one go about moving a metric ton of nickels? That would seem like an increidble feat to dump them in time to cash in on $14 silver. Have you ever considered a plan for that if you really needed/wanted to do it?

Sounds like some bank in town is about to get $10,000 in nickels, and Ardent will have 684 new ounces of silver.

If anyone feels over burdened by having too much silver i.e. 1 oz or 10 oz name brand bars, let me know and I'll be happy to lock in a price today with ya and take some off your hands!

It's interesting how a lot of us are trying to scare up cash to add to our silver hoards. It will also be interesting this weekend when I go to a coin show to see just how much the spreads have increased as the price goes down.

Now I don't feel so bad about that stack of Silver Eagles I sold a couple of weeks ago for $19 each. Interesting thing.. like russell I can usually singlehandedly change the market. If I buy it goes down.. it I sell it goes up. In this case the market should have gone up. The market is behaving irrationally.

Hope there are some panicked sellers at coin club tonight or tomorrow night so I can add some more silver to my hoard.

If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more.

Now selling Copper pennies. 1.6x plus shipping. Limited amounts available.

The plan is that I would borrow the cash from my wife and use the nickels as collateral.

You really might want to hurry and buy some before the feds' currency manipulation scheme falls apart and the dollar falls again--and before silver heads back above $20.

I liked $10.00 silver......it was easy to do the math as to how much silver my money would buy.

I wanna see one of these T-shirts! Don't worry about me buying the place out. I think it is going to be hard to find sellers at the current price. Should be really interesting.
