I would like to, but no, I don't get out enough or have the connections to make any good wheatie purchases.

So, I don't know if such deals are there, the closest I came was a $50 bag offered for $200 at a local coin show by a non-dealer. Given the chance again I may would take it.

Hi all,

Heh. When you're buying wheats, they're .06c each.
If you're selling them, they're .02c each.
So say the dealers...

Only when they CAN'T have it, ......THEN they'll want it.

I love Cents. If you get an UNC box, you win. If you get a regular circ. box, you win. If you get a zinc box, you don't lose....so you still win.

I'd love to know how these sellers on Ebay find all the estate sales with loads of wheat rolls. Makes you believe maybe there is a legitimate vocation in searching for old coins stored in people's old dressers and mason jars.

Yeah, I just found this hoard of wheats the other day! Oh, wait, I went in my basement!

My dealer offers to sell me them for 3cents, but offers to buy them for 1.5. =/ But I also give him constant business.

3 cents on wheats is pretty standard when buying them.....four at the most, but you can find plenty at 3.
